Playing with Acrylics

The seagulls are very alluring in their flights, and famouse artist features them in frequently, they might create balance or provide focal point or just an additional subjects to a landscape...
The other painting is taken by my cellphone camera during one of my windy, cold walks at the North Bridge of Edinburgh, behind is the Balmoral hotel and farther down is a glimpse of the Registrate office.

Roses at Dusk

Just a quick painting on Christmas Day!!I have photograph this outside,to catch out the natural light of the sun as it is 3:20pm,and it started to get dark.I dont prefer the artificial light as it makes my work blurry and yellowish. And it will just murder the tones and light captions on the painting..

Passing Sentence

This is the finish painting of the street in front of the Advocates Library in Edinburgh. At first,I planned this as an entry for the Royal watercolour Society contest but now I'am not sure because it doesnt turn out the way I want it to be of which somehow its very dissapointing. This work is what I called hard labour and I give much time planning and painting to get the kind of effect that unpredictable watercolour tricks!!

Joana's Meow

Two beautiful feline, posing for the camera which is very amusing.Done in acrylic,in a canvas.

Bugatti Veyron

An entry for Christmas Page Logo, for AutoArt,I've choose a Bugatti not because of its luxurious price, but because the design is so sleek, and the presentation of tones would allow my Pthalo Blue and Paynes Gray to blend in with confidence...

This is the Advocate Library,Edinburgh.Almost finish, takes about two weeks for me to paint this.As Iam using water colour,I always wait the first glaze to dries out before glazing again to create the effect that I want.

One night,I was getting bored and wanna paint something so simple and yet so quite grabbing with delicious colors and shades..

Water Colour
16/20 Inches
Prize 200 GBP
For two days I've been frantically sketching of that Advocates Library in Edinburgh.I'ts a tough job since there are a lot of architechtural designs that has to be specify,I end up having a very sore back, specially my shoulder. But I want it to be perfect since that will be my entry to Royal Water Colour Society and I will post it later on.Then last night I have enough, and decided I need to divert my concentration to freshen up my brain or just to relax. So I make a quickie painting of KOI which for me is very enjoyable with all the flows and shimmer of the water..its very relaxing and I enjoyed doing this..
